VotesforSchools provides weekly resources for teachers to prompt impartial discussion on a challenging current issue. Our students get the opportunity to vote and comment and we ensure that their voices are heard and have an impact.

Safer Internet Day is approaching on Tuesday 10th February. At VotesforSchools, we’re talking about the role of AI chatbots in giving advice and wellbeing support. Younger voters will be thinking about whether they should use AI chatbots for advice, while older voters consider whether advice from AI chatbots is trustworthy.

Last week with the Winter Olympics fast approaching, and a heated debate taking shape on the slopes: should artificial snow have a place in the Games? As climate change reduces natural snowfall, many venues are turning to man-made snow to keep events running, though environmentalists warn of the heavy toll this takes on water and energy resources. We wanted to find out what our voters think is a priority.
